The rooms are spotless and compact with exceptionally comfortable beds. the atmosphere of the hotel is individual and unique. - It has a great and easy location down the North Island to Christchurch, in a local area.

Location: the hotel was right by the city centre, and the Lake, supermarkets, and restaurants and shops. Both rooms we booked were beautifully decorated and decent sized with lovely linen and an an extra single bed, for instance, no complaints whatsoever...

The rooms are neat and compact with a bathroom and a cupboard. A microwave oven, an electric kettle, and a toaster are a nice touch. The staff are amicable and excellent. The location of the venue is marvellous and easy, just next door to the lake, city centre, and restaurants and shops.

This place is peaceful and conveniently located near a supermarket and local stores, with just a 10-minute walk to the bus stop at 118 te Heuheu st

I got a room here at a good price, and it had a nice curtain to separate spaces, with great facilities available.

Clean and cozy room with heating, lots of TV channels, and a microwave 📺🍿. Great view from the room.

My partner and I stayed at Barrington Motel for 3 nights during our trip to Taupo. We were warmly welcomed by the friendly staff who made us feel right at home. The homemade biscuits and milk provided in our room were a lovely touch. The beds and pillows were incredibly comfortable, giving us a restful night's sleep. The motel is family-oriented and they even helped us with sightseeing recommendations. We were upgraded to a larger room and given a later check-out, which we felt incredibly blessed by. We would choose Barrington Motel every time we visit Taupo.

The location of the motel is great as it is within walking distance to the town center and all the amenities we needed. the room was small but had all the necessary facilities to make us feel comfortable. the owners were friendly and helpful, providing us with useful information about the area. the homemade cookies they gave us were a nice touch, and the option to have our dishes washed for us was convenient.

The water pressure in the shower was low.
